A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO ABBEY ROAD
A man walks into a bar and orders three beers. The bartender serves him and the man proceeds to drink them until they’re gone. He then orders three more and the bartender says, “Sir, I know you like them cold so why don’t you start with one and I’ll bring you a fresh one when you’re ready.” The man says, “You don’t understand. I have two brothers, one in Australia and one in the Ireland. We made a vow to each other that every Saturday night we’d still drink together. So right now, my brothers have three beers, too, and we’re drinking together.” Then one week the man comes in and orders only two. He drinks them and then orders two more. The bartender says sadly, “Knowing your tradition, I’d just like to just say that I’m sorry you’ve lost a brother.” The man replies, “Oh, my brothers are fine, I just quit drinking!”

One night, this guy comes into a bar and asks the bartender for a drink. Then he asks for another. This goes on for a half an hour and the bartender gets worried. “What’s the matter?” the bartender asks. “My wife and I got into a fight,” explained the guy “and now she isn’t talking to me for a whole 31 days.” After thinking it over in a reassuring tone, the bartender asked. “But, isn’t it a good thing that she isn’t talking to you?” “Yeah, except today is the last day!”

An old guy walks into a bar and the bartender asks for ID. “You’ve got to be kidding,” he said. “I’m almost 60 years old.” The bartender apologized, but said he had to see the license. The guy showed his ID, then paid and told the bartender to keep the change. “The tip’s for carding me,” he said. The bartender put the change in the tip cup. “Thanks,” he said. “Works every time.”
